FortisLNG’s facilities are connected to Canada’s natural gas reserves by an existing system of pipelines, supplying affordable energy to Canadian and American customers since the 1950s. These Canadian natural gas reserves are enough to maintain production for up to 300 years.

FortisLNG has entered into its first long-term supply agreement to produce liquefied natural gas (LNG) for Top Speed Energy to export to China. This agreement will see 53,000 tonnes of LNG, equivalent to about 60 ISO containers a week, shipped from Tilbury, British Columbia to China by the summer of 2021.
